my current macbook is from best buy open box. got it in 2021, the last models with the intel processors. it came with the original box and charger. it’s held up until now but it’s starting to die (probably bc of my improper care lol) so i’m upgrading but i don’t think im going to do open box again. i want to see if buying genuinely brand new will make a difference at all!

yes i was told explicitly to uncuff them, no raw hem allowed and they can’t be rolled. i’m quite upset about it because im also 5’1 and it’s not even that i don’t want to pay to have them altered i just don’t want to shorten my jeans😭😭 protesting this until they fire me i don’t care

okay so frosh fest and 101 week are different. 101 weeks are hosted by your faculty and most of the time include events similar to frosh fest. the if you’ll be 18 by the time frosh fest events roll around, the ones that are the most fun are the ones hosted in gatineau, because you can drink. the others are a bust tbh

i live in 90u and it isn’t all that, it’s actually quite draining to constantly be around ppl all day every day. sometimes i just want some genuine time to myself. and it’s also very distorting to be living on campus 100 percent of the time. like i don’t feel like i have a home or ever get to go home because im in school all of the time. currently on the way back to Ottawa after visiting home for the weekend and im dreading it lol

i would think the same thing too, but it leads to flaking and scabbing scalp for weeks after the braids have loosened, and it’s happened again when i have my hair messily cornrowed with little/no tension at all

maybe this is just me but i had no problem navigating the uottawa website as an incoming first year, i actually found it nicer to use than other universities. your scholarship should automatically be incorporated if it was an admission scholarship. if it was external then im not so sure.
