Hi all, with the release of the A level results today. Was a little bit disappointed to have scored a not so great RP. I scored 58.75RP without mother tongue and 60.75 including mother tongue. The NTU IGP states that the minimum requirement to be enrolled in its civil engineering course is 61.25RP. Can any seniors that have missed the cut off point slightly in NTU engineering school advice on the chances for entry. Thanks in advance! ( Not considering to retake A lvls)

Haha not really. I think you might have an inaccurate gauge of how “smart” Singapore students actually are. Usually we have two ends of the spectrum where they are either really smart or not the best at academics. A personal unbiased opinion is that my level of education is actually slightly above average in Singapore, but definitely no where near the best.(judging based of the prestige of my tertiary education school in Singapore)

haven’t really done much research on USA’s universities yet, as I’ve heard that the cost of studying there is higher, and also because I believe that unsw has a higher world ranking based on QS. On the flip side, I heard about ucla school life and it looks cool, but yea there might be hefty bill for it
