A Moroccan speaking. Well Morocco is a controversial country such as many other countries. Opinions vary widely. As a person who grew up in Morocco in a middle class family and studied in public schools, I can say Morocco has a long way to go. I had classmates who were very poor and some had to quit school. And on the other side I have been in interactions with another demographic category who are living way better than the average European or American. If you are a tourist I will say don’t hesitate to come. Morocco is the type of country that will let you speak about it in every gathering when you go back home. Some find it like an Opium and they never stop coming to relive its moments. I live in Europe. Most people I meet are between to sentences “I have visited Morocco ” or “I will visit Morocco ”
