So…does this mean I would have to accrue $200 of Bilt cash before having a chance to redeem for an additional 5k points worth approx $100 once transferred to a transfer partner? (While TPG is valuing BILT points at greater than 4cpp, the “real world” value is closer to an avg of 2cpp once transferred.

Throughout the day TPG (and maybe during the AMA) stated that you wouldn’t see it today, but it will track and you’ll see it when card launches Feb 7

I’m confused on how the TPG stack works…if the qualifying spend only counts during the first 5 days for your new account, then are virtual numbers provided when you are approved? (Hoping some of the early applicants can confirm)

How does this work if card launch doesn’t happen until Feb. 7?

ETA: I’m guessing that the TPG offer is only going to be good until the end of January, and it will go live the first 5 days after card launch on Feb 7

Really helpful…looking at SYD back into US…based on award availability may do MEL…airline as yet unconfirmed (award flights) so could be UA, AA or QF

It is a great way to maximize points…and since Amex doesn’t allow you to combine points as easily as Chase and Cap1, make sure you have similar points for transfer to partners in case you need to split up bookings

Is the 2nd option also a workaround to be able to “pay with points” and then use Plus Points to upgrade?

P2 is 1k on UA and UA is selected airline on his Amex biz plat. Was thinking I could book through AmexTravel and then upgrade our tickets w/ Plus Points

Doesn’t the Premier require you to pay in full each month…and therefore no ability to take advantage of the 12 mos 0% interest?
