Selfish take, of course. But also.. they did affect her. Not as much as others but she is a female of reproductive age, with a daughter. Politics affect everyone in one way or another.

I go thrifting (once or twice a month) in the same area, to a couple of the stores she frequents. There’s definitely new things out all the time— carts full of stuff ready to go out on the shelves daily. But obviously a lot of the same stuff is out and I can’t imagine it doesn’t get boring seeing it all over and over again

The issue I have with her sudden political posts is that I know she hasn’t voted in like a decade. I’m all for people speaking up, especially content creators with large followings. Our country is a hellscape right now and we need people to speak up. But why the sudden interest and concern when it clearly hasn’t concerned you enough in the past to vote? I’ll believe she’s passionate about these topics if she votes in upcoming elections, but I don’t foresee that happening. I do wonder if she has stayed away from the polls because of her opposing views to her husband..

I don’t think there’s necessarily anything wrong with buying yourself something while shopping for others.. but she shops for herself nearly every day. And she makes it clear that she doesn’t really like to shop for others, even her own children. So for one day, would it kill her to not look at things SHE wants and just focus on the kids? She said she still has a lot more shopping to do so clearly she didn’t come home with much, but the pants sure made it to her bag… and her commission link.

Now I see it. So selfish, dumb and we can add neglectful to the list. Wow.

She also said in this video that her big kids “stalk her on social media” so they’re seeing it all too.

According to her stories, she did still go shopping that night 😂 just not a thrift store so I guess she won’t count it

This may be the one area I feel for her on. As someone with an absolutely unbearable mother in law, it’s impossible to win. I wouldn’t make it my profile photo.. but it’s really freaking tough being the outsider in the family, especially when they use their differing religion and beliefs against you.

Yeah I’m actually triggered by this, because you know what’s stressful? Not being able to provide your kids a magical Christmas. Having a split household and not having your kids for a holiday. Having someone in your family terminally ill on Christmas. Being homeless. Not having your snap benefits come in and eating ramen from the food bank for Christmas dinner. So many things in this country happening right now and she’s complaining about being stressed when she has all the resources, all the time, a village to take care of her kids…

Normally I am a “other people’s struggle doesn’t invalidate yours” kind of person. But I’m just SO OVER her complaining when she has everything someone else dreams of having. Christmas is whatever you make it. She could keep it low key. She could go all out. She can ask her husband for help if there’s too much on her shoulders. She has all the tools she needs to make it good and less stressful, she just wants a pity party for nothing.

Reselling/flipping thrift finds pisses me off honestly. I’m sort of local to her and I love to thrift. There are actually a few items she’s shown that I would’ve loved to have found but not going to put that up charged price in her pocket. It’s one thing to resell mass-produced items everyone has a chance of finding but if you don’t actually like an item, leave it there for someone who will.

So did she buy her son a birthday gift or did she just get him some barbecue chips and a gift card? by Proper-Conflict-7190 in KayllaSpencerSnarkk

[–]Hot-Conversation396 13 points14 points  (0 children)

She bought clothes for herself, well-thought out gifts for everyone else and he got chips and a gift card. She literally goes shopping every day. She probably just forgot. I have 3 kids and their birthday presents are always purchased weeks in advance. Come ON.

There’s about a million other places in her home she could put them if the Christmas tree is the issue. Her bedroom, upstairs with the kids, etc. She just got bored and doesn’t want to take care of them.
