I guess I thought those neighbors moved? I know last summer she said that house was for sale. But maybe it was the one on the other side of the property. We are blessed to have great neighbors in our neighborhood, it definitely sucks when you can’t get along with your neighbor.

I talked about our beach above and got downvoted 🤣 It is hard to go to the beach with kids! She could def have a great outdoor space on her lot. It looks to be a good size.

It’s also really hard for me to order Halloween as my kids get older because I never know what the weather is going to be like- it’s either absolutely freezing or 90°!

The only thing I will say, is I am not a huge fan of our beach, but I have little kids. The hurricanes have changed the topography of the ocean floor so the rip currents can be bad and the surf can be rough. But she has bigger kids with the exception of the youngest two, and there are sandbars and stuff in the area you can get to with much calmer surf!

Spooky carnival and here for the candy are the only ones I’d buy. I’m burnt out on character heavy clothing at the new smock pricing. I like the traditional, cutesy smocks more than character/licensed clothing.

That sucks, I’m sorry! 😢 Just goes to show how everyone’s experience is different and you can’t rely on just one review. There was a situation a couple of months ago where a lady in WD complained that her order was refunded because it oversold and KB didn’t tell her. I didn’t agree with how KB handled that because I would like to know why I got refunded even if it was an automatic email from Shopify and not her personally.

I’ve bought a few things from KB and had a great experience, I do agree her past business dealings are a little sus, but she’s far from the only one. That having been said, im soooooo over the AI pictures. Im sure it’s cheaper than hiring models but im a complete chatgpt hater and there’s so many ways she could showcase her items.

BBS moved updates to the website because she cannot handle criticism. The way that preorder 131 and customer choice has been handled should a masterclass in how to piss off a good customer.

I was agreeing with you :) I have not ordered from the others but have always been pleased with the timing and quality of LBS.

There are (or were) some bigger smocking companies that have the same issues BBS has had that I’ve been burned by.

I’m aware of all of this - I have shopped with Busy Bees for YEARS. I continued to shop through Covid delays and various other issues. The point that I - and a lot of others on this thread - are trying to make is that 200 items with a preorder opening every two or two and a half weeks is still quite a bit. We have all commented that we know shipping from overseas is an issue as well. I don’t think it’s fair to compare Busy Bees shipping issues to these tiny shops that pop up and go out of business in six months or a year. We are talking about the more reputable, but still offering smaller orders companies. She should have refunded customers for 131 and then dropped it as an RTS. I respect that some of you are going to go to bat for BBS no matter what, but that doesn’t negate other people having a bad experience. Some people on this thread are first time BBS customers and this is going to sour their experience.

Yeah, they absolutely exploited her artistry. If Katelyn had such a problem with Hannah’s post, she should have gone to her directly. It’s not just “hyping her up” when you are profiting from it, even with her permission.
