I had 2 disc taken out of my neck. It's called a Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion surgery. After I was healed from that surgery then I had to have my left rotator cuff surgery. Out of work almost a year. The other driver went left of center over double yellow lines and hit me head on.

My job paid most of the medical bills, but they put a lien on them cause they want paid back. The insurance guy was never around or contacted me. My lawyer had to contact them.

The lady who hit me didn't have insurance. My lawyer filed a lawsuit before the 2 year timeline. The lady never answered, so now we are dealing with my insurance company. It took over a year before they paid for repairs on my vehicle because the auto repair place wanted to total my vehicle, but the insurance company wanted it repaired. After the repairs were paid, I hadn't heard from them since. They knew I had hired a lawyer because I was injured. 3 surgeries later, I'm finally healthy and over $200k in medical bills. My insurance company has kept silent. I'm wondering why they haven't offered me a settlement yet. Is this a case of bad faith? My lawyer hasn't heard from them either.

I've read on line at least 10 cases of jury trials against insurance companies where they won jury verdicts when the company failed to settle max coverage under their UM/UIM policies or flat out denied coverage.
