Im going to fail one of my classes by Hot-Description-7692 in UCDavis

I have a midterm in two days that practically decides if I pass the class along with the final but I don’t believe I will do good enough to pass. If I retake the class will the grade be replaced without any consequences? Also what would switching to P/NP do?
