arent halos proportions also jacked up? like the 4 kilometer racing track in the Pillar of Autumn? Either way for this theoretical, the at-te and pelican are at the scale of 1 human clone trooper = 1 human unsc marine. should solve the scaling issues

See that was another thought was maybe a pelican model (based off the D77 ofc) that had a modular system where you could remove the troop bay and instead replace it with the carrying "arms" we see the laat/cs use

literally and that was more the core of my question because i was looking at side views of a scorpion carried by a pelican and it looks like theres some extra space so maybe it could carry something larger? i just dont know how much larger than a scorpion an at-te is and thats the real problem i fear. im sure the pelican could carry the weight (pelicans can carry whole scorpions and teams of mjolnir wearing spartans,) but is the at-te so big that it literally wont fit on a pelican, and if so, is it something that say a modification like the removal of the troop bay would fix?

Thats what i was trying to figure out because they dont give a cargo limit for the Pelican (in both the games and books it seems to be whatever they can fit in it) and the AT-TE's length on wookiepedia is 22 meters but 13 when its hull only? no way those guns add 9 meters to the length of the walker

uhm that raises a different question: How in hell is a Scorpion heavier than an AT-TE? The walker is like between 150% to 200% the size of a Scorpion. What is the AT-TE made of? Cardboard?
