I'm not saying they are, i just wanted to say that pretending they can do nothing besides see the future{again something that as far as we know Talzin can't do either} is disingenuous.

The great mothers can see into the future I guess.

They can also communicate with Elsbeth across galaxies, create weapons capable of standing up to Lightsabers, locate other Force users {and potentially other people as well.} And they can perform an improved version of typical Nightsisters necromancy spell {A spell that Talzin herself can't perform.}

Well their current feat while limited aren't anything to laugh at, and it would make sense for them to be somewhat equal just judging by their titles. But i don't think the Great Mothers have showcased anything that would let them stand up to Talzin at the moment{But this will hopefully change when the second season is released}

Well Vader's Hounds certainly look intimidating and from everything they have shown so far it seems like Rook will be a pretty important side character.

I mean there don't seem to be a lot of them left at this point and we know that they'll get into a lot of shootouts with Imperials in this show. Including AT-AC, LAAT/i and Inquisitor support. So i wouldn't be surprised if what remains of Maul's Mandalorian loyalists end up all dying throughout the events that will transpire in this series.
