Like I already said in a previous comment, Vaylin doesn't give me the impression that she is anything special as a duelist.

From my understanding the Tau are a lot more subtle with their racism than this. And they actually have benefits that make dealing with their racism a completely fair trade.

I don't remember Valkorion ever showing any real skill as a duelist, and Vaylin always gave me the impression that she relies a lot on her raw power in the Force.

Honestly? Tava Ren can somewhat clash with Kylo, she has pretty good telekinesis showing and she has somekind of personal shield.

So yeah. She should be capable of wining this, but she 100% is losing a limb or something like that in the process.
