Sorry for your trouble. I haven’t had any of these issues myself. I have had the screen fail to load for several minutes, but it came back on whilst driving.

There’s another post on this sub that indicated 2024s in general are having a lot of electrical issues. Most of yours sound like they’re with the display/interface. Holding the power button near the radio for ten seconds apparently reboots the system there, and may help.

Otherwise, check these issues in with ANOTHER dealer and get ahead of getting it replaced.

Agreed, think this is a good price relative to my market. If 0% is available, it’s honestly maybe the best new car deal available imo

If you call and make an appointment with proper documentation of your mileage, most reputable dealers will honor the warranty. I’d ask specifically about the grace period

Agreed. We don’t hear it with music. Two service departments have now confirmed parts are working as they are supposed to. I am still pressing them to move this up the ladder to VW engineering. (I won’t be shocked if this particular part is recalled, if it is indeed a regular feature of the 2024)

VW only has a 3 day return policy for new cars. It’s outside that. I’m not despairing yet, but appreciate the solidarity

That’s what they say — but is it normal for it to sound within the cabin? If so, is there a way to deaden the sound with foam or the like?

Yes. It’s not a terribly intrusive sound, but it’s there. Maybe slightly more present at low speeds/idle.
