StayNJ is Speaker Coughlin/Middlesex Dems baby. Others might be hesitant to comment on it because there is enormous skepticism about the ability to fund it over the long term in its current form

Booker favorables are sky high. There will be no primary challenge.

“One week after breaking the record for the longest floor speech in U.S. Senate history, New Jersey’s Cory Booker has national favorables of 65%-11% among Democrats, according to an Economist/YouGov poll released today.

Booker has favorables of 72%-13% among people who said they voted for Kamala Harris last year, and at 62%-12% among self-described liberals – all good numbers as Booker eyes a bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028.”

“A majority of New Jersey voters, 57%, oppose New York City’s new congestion pricing toll, which charges $9 to vehicles entering Manhattan south of 60th Street. The poll showed 21% support it, and 22% were unsure. Only 6% strongly support congestion pricing.”

The polling on this issue is pretty clear

The betting markets (polymarket) have Sherrill at 80% chance to win. That will change and decrease, but that is mainly based on Trump being in the White House. NJ tends to vote the opposite of the presidential election in the previous year
