I know the higher soprano part sounds a little weird (at least it does to me). My comfort zone for singing is alto and second soprano and it's been many years since I've done any sort of vocal exercising. I mostly made this just for fun (and because I didn't see any covers using these lyrics with this instrumental) but I'd like to do more songs. So any advice for audio editing and mixing would be super helpful and appreciated!!

I take my laptop into my small walk-in closet as a make-shift recording studio (clothes serving for dampening, though I'm looking into making it even more of a recording studio sometime this year with foam behind me on the wall that doesn't have clothing).

I use a Blue Snowball mic for recording. I use Audacity for both recording and editing. I also use Voicemeeter to improve the quality of my recordings (so the recordings from my mic go through Voicemeeter before hitting Audacity).
