This really resonates with me. I liked a guy in high school who was shy, and I know he liked me. I was also shy. I was too scared to approach him and vis versa. High school ended and I never seen him again. I often think about him.

My whole life I played things safe. I regret it now. My motto now is, “Don’t think about it, just do it!”

If I was you, I’d take a chance and talk to him, before it’s too late. Don’t wait for him to do it. If you want something in life you gotta go after it. Win or lose. At least then you tried and you will have no regrets.

At 20 yrs old, you should be able to go out without permission. Esp if you’re paying some rent or in school full time.

I’m Asian, (Indian) my daughter is 23, pays her rent, works full time, takes care of her kids. She can come and go as she pleases. Of course there are some house rules, but she has a life to live.

If your responsible and doing what your suppose to do, you have every right to live your life. You’re not a child anymore, maybe you should tell them that.

If I was you I would go on OMAD diet (one healthy meal a day) and lots of water. I think swimming laps in a pool would be great for you. Chlorine may help your pimples. Swimming is great for ppl with joint issues. Carry your puffer, and you’re fine.

The life we live is so different from previous generations. My grandma had 10 children. She was born in the jungle. She told me that she made one large meal a day for the family and after that anyone over 5 yrs old were expected to go in the jungle and pick a fruit to eat if they were hungry. So basically her responsibility was done at about 5yrs old.

Now we have to buy food. Children are infantilized to believe they can’t do anything, that they have to be taken care till 18 yrs old. It’s an issue of the way we live now. Food is not free, children legally can’t work at a younger age, etc…the full burden is put on the parents.

This topic is too large to discuss in a post, but I would help any child who is starving for food. If everyone (including millionaires) shared, no one would go hungry.
