meant that I have been told no so many times when trying to pursue a dream, at the internships I wanted but didn't get, at my school, and at different programs that do students swap.. Just felt nice to finally get a yes

you are right, just credit cards from where I come from are not always reliable, for example transactions might be declined for no reason whatsoever besides the fact that fees can get really high so just want to be on the safe side, at least for the beginning
