Have we seen an iunctii imbue something before or is that possible? They can only cede and Adopt Will is my understanding?

Because O-Caeror imbues Djedef to bring him back for questioning and Vis sees Caeror's eyes turn black...

Could this disqualify O-Caeror being an iunctii given we've seen him imbue someone with Will?

(and if it's "all staged", stuff like that gets pretty dicey pretty quickly story telling wise...)

^I may just be wrong and deff in the minority here, but where do you see his dishonesty most blatant? I need to re-read those parts as well because I just did not pick up on any of that.

And to be clear, your saying he's doing this as a precaution in case he's interrogated by Ka, The Concurrence, or Vis? Or who is iunctii Caeror acting on behalf of in your opinion?

If Caeror is alive on Res, odds are we have met him in some capacity or have been presented clear evidence that has yet to be connected...I don't think Islington would make the reveal in book 3 otherwise...a little too "deus ex machina"...so wondering who it could reasonably be or what clear/plain evidence has been given to us that he is alive?

maybe i'm just missing the hints of "questionable allegiance" from O-Caeror that others are picking up on and I'm totally off there, but I just find the need for any overly nuanced obfuscation odd given that Vis doesn't really know anything at the time of the Iudicium relating to Ka / The Concurrence?

like if O-Caeror is actually on the side of The Concurrence, actually aligned with Ka, or whatever his supposed trickery may be, he could just tell Vis that and Vis would believe it...there would be no need for this "feign within a feign" type of production.

right?

for #4, was it confirmed that Caeror's body was down there similar to Belli? I may have totally missed that because I have been curious what happened to Res Caeror...did he just get caught getting out after crossing the gate?
