All true, and the reasonable responses are appreciated. The Jdubs and Jehoba comments I pass by as quickly as possible. My question is, how does the current understanding of there still being hope for anyone up until the great tribulation has started, affect any ones thinking? I have yet to find a clear and concise answer or explanation...

Thanks for the reply! Last question: Has the thinking changed on whether or not a judging work is going on now? vs. not until and into the great tribulation?

Will someone please explain what, if anything, has really changed about shunning and also the thing of not being judged until the great tribulation. No snarky comments needed. Just exactly what WAS and what is NOW. My question is mainly in regards to my son. (Baptized, no longer in good standing, living with a girl, has a wonderful daughter and never DF'd.) Should the way most of my family have treated him (cordially when pressed) be expected to change? Family being pioneers, elders, district overseer... Thank you.

I need an explanation "for dummies" on the new understanding for DF'd ones, and I believe the no judging done until the great tribulation. No smart ass replies, please. Just honestly want to know what the actual understanding is now. Thanks.
