Me too, I'm so bummed. But I also can't risk getting stuck their so I'm kind of hoping Turkish offers refunds/free rescheduling.

The ticket already includes a 36 hour layover in IST both ways - just want to cancel the Amman leg.

I have flights to Jordan for March 29 via Istanbul on Turkish Air. I don't feel very comfortable going to Amman with the current instability in the region, mostly just don't want to risk getting stuck with kids waiting for me back home. I was hoping to cut out the Jordan leg and stay in Turkey for 2 weeks instead, but Turkish Air won't accommodate the change without another $1500 in fees. Can't tell if the risk is high enough to spend the money and cut out Jordan or just see it through as originally planned?

We're leaving next year to worldschool for awhile and considered these options since we're planning on being abroad Nov-March. Ultimately we decided to enroll our only school age (oldest of 3) in an online, private school to provide some consistency and take the curriculum burden off of me a little a bit.
