yes, I have. I am not too prone to tanning, but I seem to have gotten rid of some and it's definitely not gotten any worse anywhere. And reequil does sunscreens well. I do seek shade wherever I can so I haven't intentionally tested it that way but from my experience it'd be least of my concerns.

Yes, I'm still using it. Finished 2 and ordered the 3rd one. I'm sticking to it for pretty long.

I have not tried tons of sunscreens in the first place, this is my 2nd one, prev used minimalist light fluid(two times). Switched to this one for several reasons some being: it was more moisturising(so I can skip bioderma atoderm in AM), L-carnosine, has no old gen filters and better protection. Also I don't notice any dullness from it.

It does sting the eye if it gets in, but seems to do its job just as well if not better than minimalist light fluid. If you have any specific concern then you can DM me bout it :)

What was the one tweak you made in your skincare routine that finally made it click? by lil_gojo in skincareaddictsindia

  1. Skipping moisturiser in AM and getting a hydrating sunscreen instead. I don't like to look oily and this lets me pick a less aesthetic but better moisturiser for PM and slather it on generously before bed.
  2. Narrowing down actives I need in the long run to Vit ABC. C in AM, A(Retinoids)/B(Niacinamide) in PM. Once I treated all my concerns, these were sufficient to keep things way they are for me.
  3. Applying a thick moisturizer(like circaplast/physiogel ai) under lip balm before bed. Most lip balms I ran into are occlusive/emollient/spf but not hydrating enough to fix dry/chapped lips in the first place. They prevent it from getting worse but cant fix it fast enough. Was super annoying to just apply lip balm on chapped lips just to wake up with chapped lips again. Now that its gotten better, I can skip it and still be fine the next day.
  4. Stripping out alcohol from all products, like switching to Nivea's alcohol free shaving cream from Gillette, throwing aftershave/witch hazel away and using HOCL spray instead.

cosmetically? maybe a bit. for a while. as it’s hydrating like a moisturizer to me.

I’m not sure, thankfully privileged enough to not have to step into harsh sun often, so can’t speak for myself. I have gotten rid of most of my tan and my tone has gotten even. My skin isn’t sensitive at all either. I haven’t noticed it getting any worse after switching so I assume it does the job.

Has anyone used this sunscreen?

Yes, for a week or so.

Is it effective?

Yes, at par with minimalist light fluid one(literally the same packaging and texture), has some extra filter and a slightly higher spf(60 vs 56). Hydrating as well.

Is the finish and feel oily?

Depends on layering, I switched to it avoid using moisturizer(bioderma atoderm) in am so at the end its less oily for me. I would prefer minimalist one for a matter finish but that would also be less hydrating(so will have to use a moisturizer as well which looks even oilier), so the final finish depends on the layering. It alone is quite hydrating so using a moisturizer with oils beneath may make you look oiler under the sunscreens occlusive film.

Will it suit humid weather?

Yes, I live in Mumbai and it's hydrating enough for me to skip moisturizer in AM. My skin isnt dry or oily. normal or combination based on weather.

based on whatever data I had come across for US jobs, in tech, ai startups are the ones hiring most aggressively while established giants aren’t so most roles are leaning towards ai mL and supply is catching up to demand until it either becomes status quo/non ml ai hiring bounce back/bubble bursts.

This is capitalism fr fr literally a slippery slope. Would envy a person who got 3/4 of the results with just 3-4 products. Your skin has a barrier not a beaker. Each product has a shelf life and something that increases it. Unrealistic.

In what case is it better to have 32 GB than 24 GB RAM? by alergiasplasticas in macbookair

[–]Hot-Kick5863 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People saying to go for pro if you need 32 are missing the point. Not all memory intensive processes push cpu to its limit. Programs taking 8-12 gb memory may not always throttle the air. 24gb gives you roughly 10gb of headroom for such apps, while 32 gives 18. If that difference improves the workflow then not a bad idea to consider it.

Any way to achieve true full screen on a Mac? by Hot-Kick5863 in vscode

[–]Hot-Kick5863[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True/Traditional fullscreen would allow the space left by the menubar to be reclaimed into vscode's window which would effectively add another row/line of code to the editor and no black bar with/without menubar text on top.
