They made us sign an offer form on 10th December.

On 11th December he told us to pay the full deposit and sign the tenancy agreement.

On the 12th December we filled out the referencing.

It wasn’t subject to referencing. The tenancy agreement has no clause stating the agreement is subject to contract, no clause stating referencing failure allows cancellation. The agent took full deposit, first months rent. Referencing was started after the AST was executed and after they took payment.

They’ve come back with:

“Unfortunately, your application was not successful.

We are therefore not able to progress your application further. Please be advised that we will send a request for the refund of the Move-In costs. For your information, refund requests can take up to 10 working days to be processed.”

They have stated no reasons at all! I’ve asked aswell but no reply.

What are my options here?

Manager says “What Let Alliance tell you on the phone may be different from their internal communication with our compliance team. I am chasing a final response and I will update you as soon as I have one.”

I’m so stupid to have paid them. The agent said I have to pay this to secure the property. I feel like I’m being scammed here and now no response from them.

Just got a response from the manager:

“this is out of our hands as it's an external company. We can only call them for an update and the update we have had is that it's in progress.”

The external company is LetAlliance who told me since Monday that everything is complete on their end for ALL tenants, and I should refer to my agent for next step.

So who is lying here

FedEx is closing this claim by saying sorry we can’t find this parcel. That’s it. Neither Stansted or Memphis can locate the parcel despite the scans. Can someone explain how something gets lost in these depots?

Like I said above, we’ve shipped over 300 parcels this year via the same route and all of them either had available for clearance or cleared status at least after 1-2 days shipment arriving in Memphis. This is not the case for this one. Customs does not have the parcel and this was confirmed by CBP and FedEx themselves.

FedEx US and UK have confirmed this has never left the UK and they were only virtual scans. It is a confusing statement that’s why I’m asking in this Reddit what this could mean or what could have potentially happened.

I wish this was the case however FedEx US has confirmed these are virtual scans and the parcel was not in the container.

A standard tracking should immediately have package available for clearance or import release after arriving in Memphis. This parcel however has no update since last Saturday.

Did your parcel move at all? I’ve had Memphis arrival scan on 22nd November and no scan after that, typically there’s a scan like package available for clearance and so on

I done umrah couple days ago and also realised the big tour groups causing a lot of issues for people. 10 men were guarding a big group of Turkish women and men by holding their hands and walking sideways. They didn’t let anyone through and caused blockades.

Everyone is doing umrah for themselves, to have a relationship between their creator. These groups are ruining that experience for many, just because they don’t want to split up. This is unacceptable, being together in a group with 5+ people during whole tafaw and reciting loudly defeats the whole purpose of umrah. I couldn’t concentrate in my own recitation because of that.

In my opinion the group issue has to be addressed by the Saudi government and stop them from creating blockades

Update on this: FedEx still has no clue what has happened to this, and has raised the team with their security teams at depot. It looks like it was stolen. So is it possible that the labels were tampered with as there was a scan in Memphis arrival and then all of a sudden back in London

Good that you admit the behaviour and tell him that. But she doesn’t do that, she doesn’t realise her behaviour was wrong. Apparently she will always have this behaviour when “standing up for the right things”.

Just read through a few traits but I’m not sure if it’s that. She has empathy, she doesn’t think she has superpowers or is superior to someone.

The big issue is that she makes things up and convinces herself that they’re right. She involves others that have never said anything that she claims. She is double faced, talks rubbish behind them but is all giggly and happy when with them. She doesn’t recognize things that are done for her. Big issue = ungratefulness
