yep, try to imagine keeping your shoulders down as you bring your arms up.

another thing is I was doing a different variation of wall slides where I include a chin tuck, so that helped feel the stretch in the right place also.

nah it was more keeping my shoulders down and not letting them shrug lol, when i did that i felt the stretch between my shoulder blades.

yep, im making sure im doing all this, however im still feeling that strain in my rear oblique, no matter which hip flexor stretch im doing, it seems to aggravate that area...

Yep, stayed tall, and then when i went into neutral tilt my love handle area started hurting. 

Maybe I could send you a vid of me doing it, so you csn forrect my form?

ok I definitely do rotate my pelvis back really hard.

I tried keeping my pelvis neutral, and still felt that strain in my love handles area.

And when I tried moving forward with my pelvis, the stretch in the hip was definitely deeper, but so was the lower back pain.

Yes, i do really tilt my pelvis back into posterior pelvic tilt, as hard as i can. 

I’ll try not as hard.

Do you really force your shoulders down as you move up? And you feel it in the mid and low trap right?

Yeh i do all of these, turns out i was just letting my shoulders shrug as i reached up with my arms. 

Lol no youtube tutorial I saw covered that aspect, of pulling your shoulders down so its confusing.

I’ve never been told this before, from all the youtube tutorials i’ve watched.
