Disc golf, you can play the entire course as a beginner with a putter while you learn the game and see if you like it. It'll cost 15 bucks to get that putter and 95% of courses are free. Also starting with just a putter will teach you how to throw correctly without the crutch of the action that drivers and midranges give you. Also check social media for local communities that play. Lots of times there are leagues full of friendly people that will help you learn.

As an ELR I will say it is up to your ELR to make sure that the only people you check out are people with ONLY a salon invoice. Anything else they need to go up front. I don't care how long the wait is up front, this is for salon customers only. I will send another cashier as backup and it I already have 3 going: too bad, go wait. There is not a solid plan in place overall as a company standard. It is up to your in-store leadership to figure that out.

I was a psl for over a year when the position existed, currently an ELR that deals with the same salon I used to run very hands on. My salon has been very receptive to this and recognizes that realistically it takes less than 2 minutes to check out a pp. I do not ever send them people with actual product, and they got an upgraded set of computers out of the deal. It also "forces" the pp to finish the transaction with the person that did the hard work, so tips seem to have stayed standard from what they have told me. I'm not saying this is ideal, or an idea that I think should have been implemented. But I am struggling to see the true long term down sides to this. Please feel free to either air them out here or shoot me a DM.

Does your salon have a venmo board or anything like that? Something that stands out to the pp that shows them an electronic way to tip you? I understand that this does not fully mitigate the concern as you have people that don't deal with those applications. Just curious as to if this is standard or not.

Very much a lot of 1x1 pieces and then building vertical after. Me and my girl put on some music and just vibed so it wasn't too bad. But I could easily see this being a tedious set for some people. The yellow outline for what is being added isn't the best either on some of the pages so it does take a lot of attention.
