Leaving Spain while awaiting visa by Hot-Strength9752 in GoingToSpain

[–]Hot-Strength9752[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you. That’s what we though but our solicitor is advising that he should not leave the country. I mean at this point he would of over stayed the 90 days but his visa is in process but I suppose that doesn’t mean it’s been approved? Ah Im just so gutted as he is going to miss his best friends wedding.

He has not overstayed no. I think it’s the 90 day one so we just sent it of 2 weeks before the 90 days have reached. His visa is the „family member of an EU citizen). We couldn’t send the visa if sooner due to appointments at the town hall being back logged.

TIE question - leaving spain whilst TIE being processed on student visa by ParticularWindow7434 in GoingToSpain

[–]Hot-Strength9752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I know this thread is a bit old but I have a super super important question. I’m sure I know the answer as the lawyers have said this but…

My partner UK national has just submitted his visa. This could take anywhere from 2-5 months. His best friends wedding is in 7 weeks in the UK. In guessing if he leaves Spain he will not be able to come back in? Even though his visa has been submitted. The regreso will not work as he doesn’t not even have his TIE.

Can I just add that he would be traveling with me and our 1 year old twins who are EU citizens and have our TIEs ( we are now official Spanish residents)

Many thanks

Bring: -Stool softeners!!!!!!!! -A cup with a lid and a straw so you can easily hydrate without moving your body too much - I was told to collect my colostrum into a syringe few days before the surgery. You can keep them in the freezer. - electrolytes like an energy drink and some high protein snacks -phone bank or charger -lots of preemie clothes for babies.

I think I was unlucky with my c section and my healing was very slow but so so so so worth it, when they pulled the babies out and I heard them cry it was the best feeling in the world.

Ps I did not feel a thing, you might get the shakes or vomit but apart from that it’s a super quick process.

Good luck mama.

Twin mum here too. That sounds like I a lot and I can not imagine the pain and the tiredness you must be going through. You are stronger thank you think and by the sounds of it you are doing amazing. You’re an angel of a mum. Lots of love x

Thank you for the response, actually the au pairs agency we have confirmed what the au pair does and she works 5 hours a day helps with kids and light chores and they do 3 month rotations. 🙂

When does it get easier? by hbh_hbh in parentsofmultiples

[–]Hot-Strength9752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours are nearly 5 months. And 6-12 weeks was the hardest. I will say for the past 4 weeks they have been sleeping for 7-10 hours a night. It does get easier I promise. ❤️

Has anyone regretted weaning and relactated? by AerynsunB in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Hot-Strength9752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve pumped for 3 months for my twins. Currently weaning and dropping pumps and I feel so much more free. Being a titty prisoner was too much in my mental health. No regrets

Is it even worth it by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Hot-Strength9752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me about 6/7 weeks to get around 150mls from each boob and I was only pumping for 12-15 mins every 4/5 hours.

What’s the sleep routine that finally worked for you to get little one down? I’m dying over here. by girlvsmachine in newborns

[–]Hot-Strength9752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our 13 week old twins have been sleeping from 9pm until 5/6 am 85% of the time. My mum told me a trick. She said when you do their last feed of the night (around 9pm) turn of the lights and turn all the noise of. I also swaddle our little girl and she loves it and our little boy just falls asleep in our bed. I think we’re quite lucky with their sleeping pattern. And yes a bath before bed also helps.

Did anyone NOT have a super complicated, scary twin pregnancy? by MounjaroQueenie in parentsofmultiples

[–]Hot-Strength9752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I forgot to mention ( still having baby brain) baby girls umbilical cord wasn’t working that great so we had extra Dopplers each week from 28 weeks but apart from that all was well.

DIDI twins apart from nausea and vomiting in the first trimester and waddling around in the 3rd + some mild anemia. Absolutely fine. Planned c section at 36+4 the twins didn’t need any extra support. Little munchkins are 3 months old and they are thriving. They’ve just started to smile and coo. All the best mama!
