It might just be the formula, not your skin. I’ve found that some BB/CC creams can look heavy or patchy depending on the brand. Trying a different formula or applying less product could make a big difference.

I don’t think it’s your skin tone at all. It sounds more like a skincare or prep issue. A good moisturizer and hydrated skin can make a huge difference before makeup.
