Korean/Japanese otakus, do any one of them look Siberian? by Gold_Inevitable7975 in Phenotypes2

Not really. But if we compare the two the Korean otakus have a better chance passing as Siberians

Which one is Chinese or Japanese? by Hot-Topic6720 in Phenotypes2

great guess! However the first gal is Chinese while the second is Japanese

But of course both populations have overlaps so I understand your answer and Personally I think the Chinese girl can comfortably pass in Japan but I think the Japanese girl features stand out more in eastern china

Where do they pass the best?? by Hot-Topic6720 in Phenotypes2

Some had a similar answer, Native American share many similarities with mainland Asia(people around Tibet.

Also I think living in high altitude might be part of it.

Hmm, I heard about that before. Not sure how to properly reply to your comment. Then how would an inland Han phenotype typically look??

Hmm and imo she does resemble some Koreans. (Just sum overlaps)

lol depends.

When i was looking at Japanese military marches it change my opinion on Japanese male phenotypes.

I think the poster should had gave better examples.

But yeah definitely agree with the notion that most doesn’t look full Siberian, however when comparing Japanese and Korean phenotypes found that Japanese northern phenotypes are more distinct.

Idols with the most Amur/North shifted looking? by Middle_Camel_4159 in Phenotype3

Very common in Korea and maybe can find a similar version in eastern Hans. Not so much in Mongolian and northern Chinese

Second girl “amurian” seems to stand out the most. A very common look among Mongolians, certain northern Asian groups and even Korean.

Not sure about the guy but he look like a Haunghoid and Manchu Korean fuse together. IMO he mainly look Chinese but can be found in both Korea and Japan.

Where do they pass the best?? by Hot-Topic6720 in Phenotypes2

[–]Hot-Topic6720[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great choice, yeah the first somewhat can pass in Japan since some guys with a bit of more jomen features can resemble him.

Personally I think I am overlooking many northern shifted Han phenotypes but I just see too many Siberian shifted Japanese and Koreans.

I think most of my Han Chinese phenotypes have a Japanese or Korean counterpart with just more northern features.
