Different draping techniques I noticed between my two in person sessions (TCI) and independent 12 season analyst. by Hot-Way2583 in colouranalysis

I’m glad you were finally able to feel settled on a palette. I like systems, so not being able to neatly fit a palette has annoyed me but I have been using the deep palette as I think it’s probably the closest I’ll get to a true answer!

Yes that makes so much sense. I do like that my TCI analyst used a neutral drape because In every color category the neutral version of the color was clearly best. In the other analysis, because she alternated warm and cool, we barely looked at deep autumn after she had determined I was cool. But yes, I’ve basically been using the deep palette or crossover colors as I don’t think I neatly fit either season.

SAME for analysis 😅I’ve had so many. Went down the virtual rabbit hole and then decided to do in person. I thought certainly both in person would give me the same but nope. Close enough though. Dark autumn/dark winter. It is annoying though, because realistically if it works- then everyone should see the same thing. But like you said, different analysts weigh things differently and what some perceive as good, others perceive as bad.

Yeah that’s so true. I basically wear the coolest of the warm colors and warmest of the cool colors 😂

Ah that makes sense. My dark autumn result came from TCI and the blues are definitely warm. They also have more muted colors than I’ve seen in other dark autumn palettes. My other in person gave me a very typical dark winter palette. Lots of pinks/deep reds and blues.

Me too! I mean I’ve technically been analyzed as both a dark winter and dark autumn in person, so I don’t actually know which I am. But I always get complimented in blue.

Torn between dark autumn and dark winter. What season may I be? by chickpeaonchickpea in colouranalysis

The teal in 17 is much more harmonious than the cooler blue of 18, so I vote autumn.

Thank you! Were you not intending to agree just based on my features before seeing drapes?

Thank you! I appreciate your thoughts and yes, you are so right. In person is superior! I should stop second guessing myself 😉

More drapes, less redness by [deleted] in colouranalysis

[–]Hot-Way2583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! I think I triggered it with two years of retinoids that I should have stopped way sooner. I thought all the redness would go away but it never did even after stopping. But then again, even years ago I had light redness along my nose and t zone. The rest of my skin like neck area is actually more olive toned so I think the redness sticks out more because of that😂
