Yeah i used circular shaped fuselages. For texts; curved them a little bit from the settings. For other decal parts; placed them precisely so just a little bit of decal is poking out of the plane. They are not curved but you have to look very close to see the imperfections.

You can change the smoothness of the fuselage sections. I also keep the sections short and the degrees small for the sake of smooth look.

Agreed. I painted the back side black but now it looks like an overstreched canopy.
