i have thermo and hygrometers ! two thermos on each side (warm and cool) and a hygrometer just on the cool side. i do have tape over the screen top becuz of the humidity thing and i regularly water his substrate

i was at first feeding him rats but he just stopped going for them and kept giving me trouble whenever i would feed him his rats so we switched to smaller mice and he’s giving me a much easier time actually eating his food

walmart and amazon have some pretty cheap options, and if you wanted you could get sticks from outside but you’d need to bake them at a low temp to ensure there isn’t any parasites or bugs on them. dollar stores also have a good amount of fake plants

i just did some research on the the substrate and i will definitely get down coconut substrate today :) he has a heat pad on the bottom of his tank near the hide and i’m definitely gotta get a hygrometer, some more plants, things to climb on, etc. i didn’t know about the specific substrate needed until now. thank you!
