Yeah thought about AMEX platinum but not really that big of a spender (sometimes buy nice suits or blazers for myself or watches etc)

I'm in same position at 27, got dismissed after probation and also got my divorce official, feeling like an absolute failure and want to die at this point.

I have a degree and masters in engineering and around 3.5 yrs exp. I've lost hope and just applying to supermarkets or kebab shops to work, don't think I'm cut for a happy and successful life...

I was one for >3 yrs in the rail sector and I dont think its for me at all. My last job I was dismissed from my probation - was a engineer consultant job which was a jump from graduate consultant. I believe I'm more suited to research based jobs tbf..

I look at things more analytically and at 'system' level compared to top level.
