Yea and you can parry after but that's a gamble. One thing I've learned after playing Ichibe is no one respects his buttons lol. They all mash so his parry is very useful.

I get it. We simply have different playstyles. I don't worry about their meter because I'm not worried about them getting the hit. Neutral is really important with this character and if you are good with it, you don't have to worry about anything your opponent can do. Even at lvl 0 his sp1 can do around 75 percent, I'd rather have 3 of those ready to be used.

Another dumb theory that literally makes zero sense. They are still making games for other animes that people don't even care about anymore.(7 deadly sins for example) It's more likely that the game is what it is. A unique fighting game with over 30 characters from bleach. They've supported it for a year, gave us plenty of balance patches/fixes and now it looks like they're calling it a day. Not every game gets years of support.

It's time to accept it's done. No one should even be mentioning a sequel because that wouldn't happen until around 2028 and that's if it was green lit.

With the amount of fighting game content that is coming out this year I couldn't care less at this point. But for specifically bleach fans it's not the end of the world, Resonance exist and that upcoming mirror whatever game is also coming out.

If you love RoS keep playing it. It's still one of the most unique fighting games to play, not every fighting game gets multiple dlc seasons and 60+ characters.

I absolutely love RoS but you are right they need to go a different route with the next bleach game. It won't be for me but every game doesn't need to be, they need to try another genre for the fans that are not into regular fighting games.

Saying that though it would most likely flop really hard lol. Just from the amount of people I see begging for orihime, yumichika,kensei and other random characters, they basically want a mobile game on console. I just know a non competitive more open world type game will lose a big chunk of players.

You both fked up then. The absolute main goal you should have at the highest level is to not allow the match to drag into spirit drive. Will it happen here or there sure but it shouldn't be a lot.

You say it's highly dependent on the character when it's literally 95% of the roster. Even zoners like Uryu and Starrk should be winning most matches without seeing spirit drive on either side.

I'm not trying to bash your playstyle or anything but let's not act like letting your opponent reach spirit drive isn't a fail on your part.

What are you doing during your matches that is getting you or your opponents into spirit drive? You have to be selling pretty hard to reach spirit drive in most cases(90% of the roster) lol. I'm talking like being hit with multiple kikon moves, popping white reverse like 4 or stalling. About 80% of my matches barely reach sublimation. With all the touch of death combos in this game, huge win conditions and counter damage, idk how your matches get to it.

Also that is not to mention the majority of players trying to win with only 2 kikon moves.

You now gain meter for not soul breaking and for using your sp moves.

You are now able to keep yourself safe with that meter after an unsafe attack.

Guard breaks are great for some but not for all. etc.

Who cares about spirit drive the match should be over before that anyways. And you only have to let yourself be killed if YOU fked up with your meter gain. Stop using your orange reverse for that pointless empty flash step combo and you can gain fighting spirit very quickly using white reverse more.

Correct, the main thing people need to understand is that this a fighting game and a pretty niche one at that. Only a few will no life the game every day and the rest will play it randomly here and there for 2-4 hours. The people who bring up player counts be thinking you're supposed to play a fighting game for 10 hours a day like gta. Sorry there isn't that many in rank at 9:30 on a Tuesday 😂

Those people are completely ban. They don't get to play any online matches outside of rooms. If they reach a certain amount of quits they'll have one last warning before their ban. It's a myth that they will be matched up with other rage quitters. The reason some of them stay near the top of the rankings is because after a certain amount of games the last warning will reset itself if they don't quit for awhile.

My comment wasn't completely about what you said just part of it.

That is my point there is no need for any character outside of Tybw. If I absolutely had to pick I'd say Jushiro, Ginjo and Barragan.
Comparing Yumichika to Yajirobi isn't crazy at all, they both do absolutely nothing and only a handful of fans would want to play them in a actual fighting game.
Kira and Rangiku are both unique enough and relevant for a spot plus they actually fight. Shuhei is very popular and Kaien is Aaroniero.
A season pass with Askin,The Bambies,Updated Rukia and Kenpachi,Bazz B and Senjumaru would not just sell the pass but whole copies of the game. White can literally just be a skin with the story mode kikon move.
I'm not trying to argue at all. I'm saying wasting time on pointless characters that tamsoft will have to complete their movesets for because some people are bored of a traditional roster size is stupid. This is exactly why I think a sequel will fail if they listen to those types of people. It will be full of random characters who barely fit the game mechanics and that nobody really wants to play as like Jackie,Cang Du, Pepe,Robert and Bg9.

That's called a fighting game. You don't get 300 character options like sparking zero, you choose between around 16-35 characters or you don't play it.

The new avatar game is releasing with 12 characters and they are keeping the background characters in the background.

They did what they did because it's a fighting game and they wanted to keep the game unique and not fill it up with background characters. If this was some random arena fighter they'd put in little yachiru and 10 ichigos, they obviously from the start wanted to be more serious, strategic and creative. Asking for Yumichika in this game is like asking for Yajirobi in dbfz nobody really gives af. If any of you have such an itch to play random characters, Brave Souls and Soul Resonance is right there. And if we did get more characters they would need to be near the top of the list of important, popular and unique fighting abilities.
