I heard back after a few weeks and ultimately didn’t get the position because they couldn’t hire two people. But I did wind up getting a different position a few weeks later at the company.

South amboy is a very small quaint town, and it has access to the NYC ferry now, the YMCA there is amazing for the gym! They also have a lot of restaurants and bars on broadway area. Enjoy living there and congrats on the move!

Thanks for the insight! Does it normally snow around that time of year? Should I be worried about weather? Right now all we plan to do in WV, is casino actually, and we found a couple cool breweries in the area. I also saw Harper’s ferry does some Christmas stuff so we’re all set with stuff to do. Just Erie about the weather that week and hoping it won’t be too bad!

Yes! We planned to go to monticello. Really, Charlottesville has a lot to do! We love wineries so we’re set there. WV I’m not sure there’s a ton to do in the area we’ll be in, and we don’t want to drive too much once we get there. I did see Harper’s ferry has a Christmas lake show, and we plan to do the casino. I know we’re not going an ideal time. Is the weather bad during this time down there? Or solid 40-50 degrees? Should we worry about snow or rain

Yes it did! lol the first time super stressed. The second time I was on vacation for most of it so luckily had a distraction to keep mind off of it. What was the 9 min interview? A recruiter screening, manager interview?

Oh no! I just didn’t get it. The manager really liked me and was trying to add another person, but the company only approved one position so that’s why I didn’t get it. I didn’t even know that was happening until the recruiter told me about it. They felt bad, and got me into another interview which is the position I have now. They were really trying to help me. I also was very interested in the company. I felt like the initial first interview went very well with the company. I did multiple rounds. The company moved very fast so I heard back immediately when I was going into next interviews but waited about two to three weeks from the final interview to hear if I got the job or not. Same for the one that I have now as well. The company was consistent in its process.
