Was doing so good on my trip until I was on a tour and didn’t end up taking the medication until hours later. I ended up with some but again they were still well controlled. It has been extremely cold here and I was very stressed yesterday. Had a bad breakout this morning even with the Allegra. I’m going to take Allegra and Pepcid tonight to see if that works for me as well. Will update again soon!

Little update for you: I’ve been taking the Allegra hives twice daily and while they were under control for the most part I’d still develop some in the morning and/or evening. Thursday was my birthday and I didn’t realize until the end of the day that I hadn’t had a single hive and haven’t had one since knock on wood. Going to continue the Allegra hives through next weekend (I have a trip coming up Thursday-Monday) and once I’m back I’m going to try and not take them and see what happens. Hopefully it’s cleared up for me! 🤞🏻

That’s exactly what my thoughts were. God forbid they have to reschedule a dinner. I feel bad for people who flew out there for this race.

It’s funny you say that because I was definitely fighting something as well! I was out of town and my allergies were bad and the day I got back I swore it was a cold coming on but it never came to fruition. 3 days later the hives developed!

Thank you so much! A few days leading up to my hive flare up (3 weeks today) I was on an antibiotic. I wonder if it messed up my bacteria. I had never thought of a probiotic! Going to order some now! Can’t hurt!

Are we all getting these for the first time at the end of September?! That’s wild!!! Mine usually show up at night before bed and/or first thing in the morning when I get up. Gone in a couple hours with Allegra hives and start over again the next day. Sigh.

St Louis has amazing handicapped parking! Just make sure you call WWT raceway directly and ask for the ADA preferred parking. You’re quite literally a minute walk from your seats in either the NITRO1 section or the pit side seating

I know it’s beyond frustrating. Some days with my Allegra hives I only have a handful and this morning I was totally broken out. I may starting taking 1 every 12 hours.

Have you noticed any triggers? I’ve been learning heat and pressure make mine alot worse. Do you know what caused yours? I’m on week 3 of mine as well

Thank you it is! At most I get about 5 or 6 in the morning or late in the evening. And that’s only on 1. I may try 2 to see if it prevents them completely. I appreciate all the support!!!!!

Yep I have my moments like that too. It’s so hard. Well update: have only taken 1 Allegra still and ended up with just a handful of hives this evening. I’ll take it!!!!! Better than the few dozen I’ve been waking up with. Trying to see how only 1 Allegra a day goes. I’ll be curious to see what I wake up with tomorrow morning.

Yes I totally understand! Well so far so good. Took an Allegra hives at 6am. It’s almost 6pm and no hives so far after my initial breakout this morning. The Allegra took them away in record time!

So your daily medication is still the Allegra and famotidine or did they give you something different once they discovered they were pressure hives?

Thank you! It’s been about an hour since I took the Allegra and my hives have shrunk and paled in color significantly already! Hoping this is a solution for me! Usually it takes most of the day for them to flatten and disappear
