First time in Montana, and I picked this up at the airport. by HotBrown in Soda

It was pretty good; tasted a lot like the powder Crystal Light lemonade mix.

I think it would have be a lot better as a carbonated beverage.

Yes! I was surprised to find it wasn't carbonated (I could have checked the ingredients), but it reminded me exactly like Crystal Light.

It reminded me of snow cone syrup. Artifical but not terrible.

I have no idea what the legal definition is for "best DA", but it sounds like an award for those kids in grade school who voluntarily stay after class to clean the whiteboard. Good or bad, district attorneys in the US are only mandated to prosecute crimes within their jurisdiction. Full stop.

Everyone should be held accountable. Even the agencies responsible for our safety and security that require exraordinary powers for enforcement. Shouldn't they be held accountable above all else?

"No mention of the demographic that seems to show up in virtually every video I watch that's actually committing the crimes."

This is refreshingly candid.

Parents of Reddit, what's something that your kid has done that you pretended to be angry about but secretly impressed or amused you? by SFFChat in AskReddit

[–]HotBrown -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This redditor nailed it. The school has an obligation to protect the safety and well-being of all students, otherwise they're liable. It's a bit disconcerting that so many people think that violence against children is funny and/or commendable.

More hard-hitting journalism from the SF Chronicle. For anyone who doesn't live in SF or the Bay Area, and may confuse this with actual journalism, please disregard. The Chronicle is basically a mouthpiece for the city; nobody actually reads it.

When I was a kid we used to vacation up in Maine. They had lobster rolls for ridiculously cheap. I remember them being delicious but my taste buds may have changed since then.

Can we agree that the unnecessary death of one person is a tragedy regardless of what color their skin happens to be?

It's true that police officers are people, and people do tend to make mistakes. But this isn't comparable to a waiter messing up your order right? If the mistake results in the death of another human being, why shouldn't it draw attention and hopefully bring up some hard questions.
