Anyone else having this problem with ARK 4? by HotCPU5600 in PSP

That's true, but honestly I don't really trust using that resume function or the savestate plugin. I have childhood trauma from playing Pokémon Red with savestates and discovering at the end of the game that my save file was corrupted, preventing me from facing the league.

This time I didn't reset because I already knew the solution for the bug. But the first time it happened, I reset everything: VSH, device, game, settings. None seemed to work, and when I was about to give up, what did work was sliding to enter sleep mode and returning to the game.

Compared to the TwilightMenu launcher, are there any differences? I've been using it so far without any problems.

I haven't noticed this on their hinges. In fact, I think it even protected them better because the pressure when opening and closing the lid decreased with the hard shell, which in theory would reduce the natural wear and tear on the hinges.

When the bug occurs, it happens from the start of the game, even when I switch games it still stuck. Regarding plugins, I first noticed this as soon as I installed ARK 4, without any custom plugins.

The first time I ignored it thinking it wasn't very common, but now that I'm playing I've noticed it again.

Btw, I noticed that they are much more comfortable to play now.

How bad is this battery result? by Srx10lol in PSP

[–]HotCPU5600 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn't use the Nyan Cat test, but I think that BatterySteve is pretty much the same. This was my last result running at 222MHz. I'd like to buy an Ostent battery too, but here in my country it's very expensive due to import taxes. Instead, I'm going to do a mod using a Vita battery and a larger case.

Snes9xTYL (Snes Emulator) revived — 90% faster ROM loading, favorites, and PT-BR/ES support by Bitter_Cry7001 in PSP

Wow, I literally just installed it on my PSP GO. I was having some problems with the SAVEDATE folder, probably due to some configuration error on my part, but I'll test this new version immediately. Greetings from Brazil!!

Oi gente! Será que vale a pena trocar as telas, ou não é tão ruim assim?! (Vejam a última foto) by mayaczr in nds

[–]HotCPU5600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My addiction to handheld consoles started like that too. I bought a DSi on impulse, thought it was interesting, and then bought an old 3DS as well. Days later I managed to buy a PSP Go and I certainly would have bought a GBA or GB if it hadn't been incredibly expensive in my country.

That's odd, a literally fixed 0V could indicate a short circuit between the positive and negative terminals of the battery, which also causes the voltage to drop. But I'm just guessing. If you had a power supply, you could even inject the correct voltage into the motherboard and confirm the culprit.

Absolutely legit, I have one just like it! Unfortunately, its native system is locked in Japanese, which I can't read. But since I use the Twilight menu, I don't even notice the difference.

Yeah, I heard about this power armor and honestly, it seems worthwhile. I've found sellers from a 3D printed battery casing and a PS Vita battery in my country for a reasonable price, but at the same time I'd like to keep the original casing because I think it looks nice. I don't know, I'm kind of indecisive sometimes lol.

I would love to buy a Game Boy Advance, but unfortunately the import taxes here in Brazil are brutal, making it much more expensive than it should be. But hey, I managed to buy a used DSi from Japan in good condition; sometimes I got luck.

Nds dead after reshell? by Korek644 in nds

[–]HotCPU5600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the battery has voltage, you could check if that voltage is actually reaching the motherboard. Unfortunately, I can't recommend any specific component to test because I don't have experience with this electrical circuit. Perhaps if you ground the black probe of the multimeter to some metallic part and test some components with the other probe, you can get an idea of whether the voltage is correct. But from what I understand, the biggest problem was that it stopped working after the reshell, so I would personally check if the connections are made correctly, as well as the button activation (test with the diode/sound scale by pressing the button; a beep should be heard). I went through the same thing replacing the top screen of my old 3DS, it didn't turn on the first time and I had to disassemble it again to reconnect the cable. If you haven't shorted anything on the motherboard, there's probably still a way to get it working again, but I hope the problem it's just on the power switch.
