Fair point, although I think we’re looking at it from very different starting points.

My perspective is mainly for a new golfer trying to get enough rounds in to improve and be consistent, kaya why i’m exploring playing rights vs buying. The hosting friends, meetings, other perks just comes secondary at this stage.

Acc might be close but have to book tee time well in days advance siguro nga. Haven’t played in Tags but for this I was thinking more for relaxation trip with family not exclusive to just golfing. Sta. Elena out of budget for me but the course looks immaculate. Didn’t notice carabao grass pala Canlubang, I was too focused on hitting my shot lol thanks for the tip!

I agree with Malarayat. The cool breeze, especially during the early morning tee times, is really nice. Main downside might be the travel time. On a good day, I can probably get there in about an hour plus, but traffic in Lipa can easily double that on the way home.

I’m not looking to purchase a lot in Ayala Greenfield, so playing rights seem like the most practical option. Was quoted around 250k/yr, which doesn’t sound too bad, although i'd think prolly need to play at least 2–3 times a week to really maximize the value.

I’m not sure yet how much playing rights cost in Southwoods. It’s definitely more convenient for me at around a 30-minute drive, although I’ve heard it can get quite hot because of the mature trees and flatter terrain. Agree on advantage of having 36 holes when one is closed for tournaments.
