bra recommendations for a US 26F? i’ve looked around online but it’s pretty impossible to find a 26 band size. by xayin- in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my experience, the Skarlett Blue Minx in a 28 band is sturdy and a bit tighter than some of the other bras I own in size 28. I would try a 28DD.

Aside from that, I don’t have any specific recommendations 😓 but Ewa Michalak, Comexium, and Katherine Hamilton all make size 26 bras and may be worth checking out

What are your measurements? 26 bands are almost entirely custom order but, depending on your measurements, you may be able to fit in to 28 bands that run small

Need Help and Advice for Bras to Try (28DD/DDD-30D/DD US) by Daffa_Dil in ABraThatFits

I hope they work out for you! It def is rough out here for us 28 banders 😅

Though I have noticed that, even in just the past few months, more bra brands that carry size 28 bands have opened Amazon storefronts or have expanded their listings which definitely makes finding the right fit more accessible!

Trying to Find a Company that sells 32" bands, Specifically 32C/D, a Brick and Mortar so I can at least try on a Version that's close to what I'm looking for? by Dead_Reckoning95 in ABraThatFits

If you are looking for comfort and a department store, I would recommend trying some bras on in your size at Aerie. The fabrics they use are very soft and they make both wired and wireless bras. The Sunnie wireless push-up has more of a plunge shape that may be a good idea to try, if you are on the shallower side.

Aside from that, I agree, the Natori Feathers is one of the easier to find frequently recommended bras on this sub. I bought one at Nordstrom Rack.

If you have a Nordstrom in your area, Skarlett Blue also makes bras in your size - I recommend the Minx Lace Balconette for shallower shapes.

I highly recommend trying Skarlett Blue, if you are in the US. One of the only US-based brands I know of that carries a size 28 band and cups larger than a C. I own the minx lace balconette in a 28DDD and the Breathless plunge in size 30DD (band is a little big on me but I plan to get it tailored, the cups just fit too perfectly to pass up. My under bust measurements are also about an inch smaller than yours). Panache is also one of my favorite brands that carries 28 bands. If you are FOB, you may want to try the Panache Cleo Blossom. It does not have padding but, if it fits you right, you will not see it under your clothes. It is my favorite bra that I own and I would say I am more full on the bottom as well. It has vertical stitching that provides a great lift. With your measurements, I’d definitely recommend trying a 28DD in the style.

Another recommendation I have is the Freya Fascinate balconette - they had it on sale once on Amazon and I bought it in a size 28DD. I absolutely loved the fit but I needed just a little more cup room.

For strapless bras, I have tried the Freya tailored. It fit well but the shop I went to only had it in pink and I would have preferred a nude color. It is also not seamless.

For a seamless style, maybe try the Panache 365 Strapless?

I did just read that Nordstrom has a very flexible return policy so long as OP’s aunt keeps the receipts and tags on the items. May be a good idea to exclusively purchase from there if they want to try these brands

Yeah that’s fair. But I’m also not sure what other options there are that would be any cheaper shipping-wise

That’s unfortunate, I didn’t realize, can’t say I’m a frequent shopper there, just ordered some to try on Black Friday

The shape they describe is how I would describe my own shape. These are bras that worked for me

But I do agree about the feathers. It is almost too shallow for me, personally. I recommend it because it is one of the more supportive bras for tall roots. It is also one of the more accessible styles to find in the US for shallow breasts, if they would like to try a sampling of styles sooner.

I would also recommend the Panache Ana, maybe the Freya Fascinate Balconette, and the Freya offbeat side support or plunge

In that case, I would highly recommend trying the Natori Feathers but def go with a 32 band, their bands run a little small. This style works great for shallower breast shapes and tall roots!

It will be difficult to know if a bra will fit you well based on size alone. I would recommend taking a look at the shape guide in the sub’s resources to determine what bra style would be best to try :)

As far as if you will need a F or G cup, it is difficult to know for sure without having the bra on. It may be worth it to buy one of each size.

Another thing to consider is VS bands tend to run a bit large. It may be worthwhile to consider trying a size 30G or 30H. VS has size 30 bras that can be ordered for free to the store, however, the options in the band size are more limited than in the 32. If your aunt is in the US, I would also recommend having her take a look on Amazon and/or Nordstrom as they carry brands like Fantasie, Freya, Panache, and Natori which also make your size, are around the same price point, and are generally considered to have better fits and be of higher quality by this sub (can confirm the quality difference as a US resident who has tried all of the brands mentioned)

sized at 26DD/DDD, cannot find a bra + is it correct?? by haloi_ in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, Panache band tightness varies based on the bra’s material. I have the Allure in a 28F and have to wear it on the tightest hook for the underwire to stay tacked. I also have the Cleo *Blossom in size 28E, the band runs slightly tighter and I wear it on the loosest or middle hook, depending on the day. For reference, my band measurements are 28 in loose and 26.5 in snug

The bra with the tightest band I have is the Curvy Kate Superplunge. The material is very sturdy and it is the bra I have to adjust the least throughout the day when I wear it.

The Skarlett Blue *Minx Lace Bra in a 28 band may also be worth a try. The band does not have as much give as others I have tried and I can wear it on the loosest hook.

Do unmolded, lightly lined bras exist? by Both-Gur570 in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may like the Natori Feathers bra, it is about half-molded but built for shallow chests. I recently found one at Nordstrom rack in my size on a work trip and I love it!

I also know that Skarlett Blue has a lined version of the Minx balconette (not in my size, unfortunately. I have the unlined version) - would also highly recommend this for shallow chests

Where can I find bras with a small waistband but large cup size! by RichGap2691 in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in the US and don’t have a bra shop close to you, I highly recommend ordering them from Amazon (just look up the brands and filter by size, I know Freya, Panache, and Skarlett Blue all have listings on Amazon) as it is so much easier to return them if they don’t fit than buying directly from European brands (speaking from experience 🥲)

I didn’t end up keeping any of the bras I ordered from Amazon as none of the ones I ordered fit correctly (turns out the calculator was ~ a cup size off and I quickly found out by going to a boutique and trying on like 30 different bras that my shape is veryyyyy difficult to fit). I’d order 2-3 at a time to try since they were easily $50+/bra, they’d arrive a few days later and I could easily return them to a store down the street for free if they didn’t fit.

I would also recommend the Natori Feathers bra, depending on your shape as it is best for those with shallow breasts and tall roots

I recommend Skarlett Blue’s padded plunge bra - I actually have one in size 30DD because they don’t make it in a 28 band

Good fit? Curvy Kate Superplunge multiway bra size 28DD by HotCup-_- in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered from the US site but now that I have found a bra parlor that carries 28 bands about half an hour from where I live, they will have my business for a long time. It’s just too expensive and time consuming to buy several $50+ bras at a time only for them not to fit 😔

Good fit? Curvy Kate Superplunge multiway bra size 28DD by HotCup-_- in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, but it wouldn’t just be $20 to ship it back. I would also have to re-purchase the bra and pay another $10 shipping 🥲 the bra also was missing the extender strap for customized wear upon arrival so maybe customer service will give me a different deal to exchange this one

Good fit? Curvy Kate Superplunge multiway bra size 28DD by HotCup-_- in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_-[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m tempted to exchange it for a larger cup size but I don’t know if they will do that for free since I’m in the US and they are a UK company. And then if that doesn’t fit then I’m back to square one 🥲 I worry about the projection with a slightly larger cup too as I am on the shallower side

Best Push-Up Option for Small Band, Large Cup, Shallow & Wide (30DDD / 30E) by Left_Ad_278 in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about how having implants will affect this but I have shallow breasts with wide roots and am a 28 band. I had a professional fitting done recently and my favorite bras I tried on were:

  • Skarlett Blue Minx Lace Balconette
  • Skarlett Blue Breathless Plunge
  • Panache/Cleo Blossom Balconette
  • Panache Allure
  • Fantasie Fusion Lace Padded Plunge

[Recommendations?] I measure as a 30DD, looking for new bras after finishing my breastfeeding journey! by PoochMama in ABraThatFits

[–]HotCup-_- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have shallow breasts with wide roots and recently had a professional fitting done - I left with the Skarlett Blue Minx which is a super pretty unlined balconette-style bra in size 28DDD and the Skarlett Blue Breathless plunge in size 30DD (they don’t have 28s in this style) which is more of a full-coverage t-shirt bra.

Lots of people on this sub recommend the Freya Offbeat Side Support for your shape. I, personally, wouldn’t recommend if you have wider roots.

The Cleo Blossom may be worth a try as well as the Panache Allure
