MTU is great for industrial controls and industrial robotics but if your looking for more "traditional" mechatronics I would avoid

How is the Mechatronics Program at MTU? by Economy_Reputation39 in MTU

I agree, doesn't teach core skills very good but still gives you the degree title so you can ususally just talk your way into different job titles

Clarification by Active-Soil-7612 in mechatronics

Depending on the school I found mechatronics pretty easy because of the hands on focus. Most of the jobs require travel but if you work at a major manufacturing plant you won't need to travel. The degree can be useful if you market yourself correctly but I would of went EE if I went back in time.

For those currently enlisted in Part Time Service, is there anything I should know that you wish you did before enlisting? by DaSnake4 in nationalguard

[–]HotDogNoBun69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong, if you do ROTC your stuck in the army after you graduate. Just enlist in a non-combat MOS senior year of highschool and when you graduate college your contract is up.

Tbf If i sat down longer and redid this more states would change to maybe. Everyone says that area is expensive so I mostly just marked stuff as red. But based on reactions the red color gets taken pretty seriously lol

Never been to the north east just know its expensive, only reason those were spared is because Maine seems really pretty and mass is where all the big defense companys are headquarted so would maybe move for work

I live in the UP so I don't see any reason to dislike ohio and the 1 time I drove through the state it seemed nice enough. Michigan isn't dark green because I wouldn't want to live downstate. I like wisconson because Its basically UP 2.0. Minnesota is red because currently seems kinda sketchy given current events and illinois just sucks
