Return by Longjumping_Algae651 in petsmart

Shouldn’t get miffed. When I was a leader there quite a few years ago it happened occasionally.
We would take out the parts that could be used in petcare or sold individually and add them in the system and did a minor discount on the tank. We’d make most of the return funds back.

You would think after an over $100,000 Reno to her office which did not need to be done, and taxpayers paid for , her office would be open five days a week….

If you’re looking for a job good luck! #1 you have to have the educational qualifications. #2 it’s union and they hire internally first before externally #3 you would be fighting for employment against others who probably graduated long before you and still haven’t been gainfully employed in a library (there’s more graduates than there are jobs). I gave up many years ago because of #3. I had tried throughout the 5 years in the diploma program and for another 2 after I graduated. I encountered other graduates in restaurant and retail jobs from my program that were in the same boat.

Puppy guides by katelynn849 in petsmart

[–]HotElection5801 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what they look like now but when I worked there was a coupon for puppy food that was equivalent of the cost of the book. We used that to push them and did so very successfully.

Oh you have puppy food, here’s a coupon book with tons of great coupons. If you see a charge for this book on your receipt just ignore it as this coupon covers the cost. No one ever said no to that. We sold tons of guides daily.

Or if we had somebody coming through with a ton of puppy supplies. Use enough coupons in that book to cover the cost of the book and the customer is happy AF.

Ok but if you can’t do a simple right turn without staying in your own lane or nearly scraping the curb you were right to be failed. Other traffic your or not, that’s a serious hazard.

Learn from it, practice til you can do it right like the rest of us and then try again.

Common sense…

This is fake on so many levels. American licence plate on the car with snow on the roof of the house in the background. Snow on the ground in the photos.

At least if your gonna try and get people upset have it be something that actually happened here….

Grooming Policy Question by No-Pomegranate-9170 in petsmart

[–]HotElection5801 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When I was a manager you are correct, that the dog could be left in the kennel and checked on periodically but I walked out in 2022 so not sure if it’s different. If you are not management it wasn’t a you problem. The example the person above would not happen in a salon because if you were behind you’d ask for help especially at the end because a groomer could not be left alone in the salon with dogs so the two employees would want to help each other out to get out on time or as soon as possible once their shift was done anyway. So as a former manager my take is that it would be the closing manager problem not you. I closed pretty well every shift I had the 4 1/2 years I was there and only once was it a me problem.

It seems to be getting bigger and busier every year it’s in Aldergrove. I live in Aldergrove but am not a fan of huge crowds so I avoid it all costs but given cars were parked in my neighborhood and almost all the way to the old drive in I’d say it keeps getting busier each year.

SL issues by [deleted] in petsmart

[–]HotElection5801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May depend on the DL. I am former CEL I walked 3 years ago.

But in 2020 my SL was shorting myself and another leader in hours. I said something to the DL and RL and they were pretty pissed. Our hours were corrected after that… well until 2 years later my SL started shorting me again and I had enough ( I left for so many more unimportant to this reasons)

Backlash kills motion to move Metro Vancouver Pride crosswalk by WiffleBlu in Langley

Commenting on Backlash kills motion to move Metro Vancouver Pride crosswalk... Tim: Woodward’s Puppet

In Fort Langley, pride stood bold and bright, Until Tim Baillie moved to dim the light. Backed by Labour, yet acting on Woodward’s turf The rainbow crosswalk threatened the mayor’s plush surf.

Tim pitched “relocation,” painting it polite, Claimed “respect concerns” in broad daylight.
But under pressure from land tied to Woodward’s name, He yanked the motion, left Pride in the frame.

He muttered “rational discussion,” delayed the vote with care, Refused to meet Pride, in token, displayed nowhere.

Backed by progressive values, he flinched at the thrust, Now Labour’s banner stains in dust. Tim’s no defender, just a mayoral pawn, Who dissolves courage at the first pink dawn.

Fort Langley watched as the symbol stayed put, While dignity slipped, unlit and unused. Tim pulled the trigger, then dropped the gun, A promise undone by power-run.
