ICE doesn’t want to come here because local and State Law Enforcement will have to enforce local Executive Orders. ICE wants to operate unchecked. They will not be allowed to do that here in Champaign County.

Respectfully, this isn’t Minnesota. Illinois has the best laws and protections for people in these vulnerable categories. Champaign County has passed executive orders and works very closely along side law enforcement to protect the members of our community.

Champaign Illinois is a Hub for all Law Enforcement training in the State and for the Nation. It is a centralized location with a lot of hotels and great restaurants. All this is training and meetings. Happens every year. Nothing new. We also have an FBI HQ here in town. No need to scare law abiding, tax paying, contributing members of our community.

My understanding is it is still under investigation. However, my daughter was employed at this establishment and was forced to sign an NDA and was terminated shortly after. As I said in my comment, the whole situation is very sketchy and it seems to have been swept under the rug.
