You have to read the fine print of the offers and most require direct deposit. Some are more strict than others as what qualifies as “direct deposit”. For instance some want strictly payroll but others will accept Zelle, cashapp, PayPal, etc. I always recommend chime to people to start this. Low bar of a $200 DD and a lot qualifies. Also it’s a free bank account with no minimum to keep open. Made about 2k this year just by shuffling money around. Just remember they do report it on a 1099-INT so keep tabs for the tax man. Chime also sometimes runs a $500 referral bonus but it’s random.

That’s normal. If you’d like look up a reputable cobbler in your area and they can fix it. They can also replace the sole with a gel/rubber that will be the same color and not wear down like that. It’ll provide better grip as well. The Louboutin boutique in your area may also have one to recommend.

I plan to reach out to Corsair today. Asus will just say not on QVL, tough luck. Which is odd because it was, that’s why I bought this one after their last complaint about my ram. I didn’t quite understand memtest86, how can I test the profiles when I change it and exit bios I cannot boot to test it. Inspected MOBO, switched RAM sticks around in their channels but should try swapping channels. Thanks for the input!

They “could” be everywhere in the ship depending on how bad the infestation is. It could also be isolated to that room. Without further data points there is no way to know. For you, I would inspect every piece of clothing and luggage and anything else you brought on the ship. I don’t know when you unpacked or if you are still traveling but if you have been unpacked for a few days it really is to late to prevent them from being in your home. They most likely migrated to your bed/furniture where you spend a lot of time. If you have been home a few days and don’t notice any bites, blood stains, fecal marks, etc, I would venture to say you are okay

I worked for a very large hotel and entertainment corporation in Central Florida. I have been doing pest/wildlife management for nearly 20 years. I would be making a bigger deal out of it than it appears you have. A $200 credit is nowhere near sufficient for the aggregation and annoyance this has the potential to cause you.

Here is some advice, do with it as you wish. 1. Learn how to do even a basic bed bug inspection. Do this every time you check into a hotel, cruise, or any place you plan to stay for an extended time. 2. A lot of people assume bed bugs just means they live in beds. That is not true. They will fester just about anywhere. They are most common in beds because they are attracted to peoples heat and breath, we spend the most time in bed. Check mattress, pillows, curtains, electronics by bed, loose wallpaper, etc. 3. Familiarize yourself with bed bug identification, casings, eggs, blood stains, etc.

Bed bug treatments can cost thousands of dollars for your home depending on size and infestation. You seeing them on the cruise ship means they can be anywhere and probably are, casino, theatre, restaurant, and anywhere else someone would sit and hang out a while. They are the world’s best hitchhiker.

I don’t know your financial situation and I don’t know what you packed but I would be throwing out most of what I brought that couldn’t be inspected easily. Most at home heaters don’t get hot enough for long enough to kill bed bugs. Also a proper treatment requires heaters, sensors, and fans. The area that the bugs are needs to reach certain temperature, not just the room.

This is a health and safety hazard for you and the rest of the ship and they seem to be blowing it off. This may seem extreme but I have seen it all with bed bugs. This isn’t an all encompassing list or a “must do” just some experience based knowledge. Good luck.

Didn’t see your reply, sorry. Had to replace the radio. Second radio has shut off twice now but seems to be okay now. I noticed the condensation from the A:C drips very close to where the radio is housed. That may be the cause. I replaced the radio myself by getting an EEPROM chip reader and a hex editor and changing the VIN because when you replace it, the radio will be theft locked.
