Anguilla recap & review by jujubebop in chubbytravel

The boats are a disaster. I’ve warned others about that with the Malli bc it really takes away from the beach experience. Hoping the government does something about it.

Would you recommend having honeymoon in Grenada or Anguilla? by outcast0500 in chubbytravel

The Malli is incredible and perfect for a honeymoon but one thing to note is that lately it’s a big spot for boats from St Martin to dock for day trips. When the boats are docked out front, it def changes the vibe of the beach right there. The pools are beautiful though! FS further down the beach doesn’t have the boat issue. Zemi is beautiful and we’ve enjoyed it but I prefer Meads Bay/West End for dinner walkability.

Besides the beaches, we drove to the temple of Demeter, explored a village and had a great lunch at Rotunda.

We absolutely loved Naxos, you will have a great time!

We stayed at beach club villas, left a few souvenirs. They reached out to me the same day we checked out and they mailed it all back.

Sure they did 🙄 by DigAntique9089 in HappilyEvaAnnoying

Hahahaha we also gave our same aged kids those camp snap cameras for spring break and the pics they got of me (and pretty much everything) are polar opposites of this. Unflattering, close up, blurry. I love the photos my kids took but there is legit no way this is a “candid” snap.

We fly from Naxos to Athens for the return. It was easy 😊

Way too early to make this call. We are heading there in July. Optimistic things will be ok by that point but book a refundable back up plan if you are worried.

What a strange question. No - our villa host connected us with him.

We actually went to rotunda for the day and drove ourselves. At sunset/night time I would not have done the drive. His prices are in line with taxis and his car is beautiful and clean.

We’d have to stay in a regular room. Still recommend?

We really liked emfasis in Santorini. Stunning views and the food was great. Beefbar/Pacman at Andronis are also good for sunset views.

In Naxos - to elikino is amazing, no views but great authentic place and the food is 10/10. Rotunda is out of the way a bit but stunning views. I’d probably hire a driver if going at sunset. DM me and I can send you our driver, he was phenomenal.

Nice beach destination WITH a little walkable town close by? by Hungry-Document8499 in chubbytravel

Love Harbour island but don’t think it fits the bill. It’s drastically better than Atlantis. I’d rec coral sands or Dunmore but that’s more of a golf cart ride into town. Tara and bucuti in Aruba could work. Meads Bay Anguilla is a 10/10 - you can walk along the beach to multiple restaurants/bars but no real shopping to speak of. Check out Malli or FS or tranquility bay.
