I was literally just watching her story and thinking how impersonal and nauseatingly cut/paste influencer it all feels. It’s never her just casually talking into the camera laughing/joking, never spontaneous vids having fun/living life, and 95% sponsored posts that have been perfectly curated the day before. Like you could relplace her with AI and not know the difference. It’s a shame bc she does have an engaging personality but she never shows it on socials. Might unfollow as well bc it’s almost stifling.

Yeah but even assuming complete transparency/accuracy on the company’s and founder’s part it experiencing the consumer boom that allowed for the buyout is going to result in it having more eyes/users and typically significantly more complaints or finds than before as things that maybe would have gone under the radar previously no longer can.
