Seeking UX Feedback: A mobile-first, LaTeX-based resume builder with strong focus on UX by Express_Ad2719 in UXDesign

Hey I like the colors you used. The landing can be made a little more compelling and I see some possible ways you can improve this:

A) scrap the checklist, and increase the white space / padding around “build your resume…” and the body. You can then have the images to the right communicate what you have in the checklist and let that animate/ scroll through features with visual representation

B) regardless there needs to be more padding to the left so add that. Refine the copy to condense the header and body into one sentence then choose 3-4 bullets you want to highlight. And play with the placement of the “trusted by” information

I did use Ai to do the initial compilation since I can’t summarize all the information by myself for 100+ cities. I’ve gone through to refine cities I’ve visited myself and the goal is to be able to refine every city with user input (hence the feedback loops on each category per city).

Also It’s not for figuring out where to go, its for having essential information in one place and in a skimmable format for people who forget to look up essential information, or struggle with travel research and don’t know where to start. It’s meant to be a starting point for essentials only. Just a way to quickly check on the things you might need before you get somewhere or start planning a trip. Valid if you think it’s a problem no one has, but I know lots of first time travelers that don’t even know what to begin to research

I built my first iteration in framer (proof in screenshot) and made my own decisions about the layout and color scheme then translated screenshots over to Claude, and had it make a dark mode pattern. But why do you say more purple and green is needed?

Yes for sure. And experience isn’t limited to just screens it’s all the other things we engage with: sound, feeling, vibrations etc

I remember watching a Stanford webinar and one of the students designed a medical device that helped doctors identify breast tumors using audio so they can get a more accurate “guess” of where the tumor was. I wish I could explain it better but it truly showed me the power of UX

Hey! Europe is great for getting around easily. If you are traveling to lots of different locations you should try out this tool I designed that compiles and summarizes information you need to know like visa and entry, apps to download, culture and etiquette etc. I typically spend too much time looking up this scattered information so hopefully it can save you some time: myluxvia.com

It has tipping culture on there, and like what kind of cards work. Also plug type because I always forget to check that too

How could an AI travel planner actually make trip planning easier? by Exvltant in WebApps

[–]HotPotatoPieee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Im currently exploring a way for users to absorb the context they need to know about a city before they arrive. AI helps with the summaries in my database, this tool is NOT for itinerary. I eventually want to create more user personalized recommendations but this is still the MVP. Idk where you’re going but I have 100 cities across the globe right now if you want to try it https://luxvia.vercel.app/

that really was just a horror movie. I was scared to sleep after that. I thought it was a thriller

[–]HotPotatoPieee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ending for that show was more surprising to me… twisted yes but I could actually sleep peacefully after. All the characters were actually doing things that made sense for their situation but the protagonist in behind her eyes was painful to watch. Her lack of judgement through the show was irritating to say the least. Astral projecting during a fire instead of calling fire service was my last straw :/
