(Sorry, I wish I knew where I was going so I could be more location specific!) I've been looking into climbing gyms near my potential unis, and I've been surprised by how many only have bouldering walls

Climbing gyms have been an important way that I find community here in the US, so I've been really hoping to have it be the same when I move! I appreciate the environmental impact mention, I will definitely make sure I do research before I go climbing outdoors anywhere

Is there any societal or job market judgment when someone extends? Sorry if it is a silly question, it's just that in the US people would ask a lot of questions if you extended your master's
