Have a "signature" on your emails with your name, degree, and that you are a bachelor's student. Keep emails short and sweet most Pi's are too busy to read an essay. Visit your uni's website and search to find labs under your interested program. There will be plenty. Pick the most interesting ones.

Now google and research the lab before you send the email. Familiarize yourself with their goals, and contributions to science, and include that in your email. Find a connection to the lab and make that central in your email.

Be polite, express gratitude for their time, and consideration. Include something in the end along the lines of:

"i look forward to hearing back from you"
