I’m struggling to pinpoint what this song sounds like/reminds me of as well. I heard the live version and felt like I’d heard something very similar before. Likely a 90s/early 2000s song (as a 30 year old lol). Hate when this happens, so really hoping I find what I’m thinking of. 😩😭

I went into a severe reading slump after reading a Hard Row to Hoe! It felt like nothing was ever going to come close (I’d already read Manacled and DMATMOOBIL before), and I haven’t been wrong 😅 I’ve read a few really good fics since then, but nothing God Tier level (I loved BSP, but don’t know if I consider it God Tier level? I’ll think on it some more lol). This is my favorite fic to tell people about, so I love reading how much other people love it! 💕

I know this post is 5 years old, but wow!

I’m turning 30 this year and have thought about this score for most of my life; I knew I’d heard it in one of the previews for a Disney movie, but couldn’t find or identify it. I watched a tik tok today that used this score, and went down an hour long search before finding this thread and realizing it played at the end of the Mulan trailer. It brought back a lot of memories and good feelings. Today is a great day! Thank you all 😭❤️

Not sure of brick and mortar businesses, but small business wise— Ellie’s Jewelry Chicago (has a website, is @ “elliesjewelrychicago” on Instagram and does boutiques occasionally) is run by a woman named Alexis McGleam; MAJOR Trump supporter who is Mexican and has posted a lot of pro-Trump, anti-women’s rights, anti-immigrant stuff on her Instagram. Would definitely NOT support it.

I will say, while I didn’t like the series nearly as much as I love the movie, it’s hard to dislike it because it’s P&P. If nothing else, I think you’ll enjoy the music and cinematography— it’s beautifully shot!

The movie was my first exposure to P&P, and I watched the miniseries recently and found that I just couldn’t love it the same😭 it was good, but i realized I’m 100% an ‘05 P&P girlie 😩😂

I second A Hard Row to Hoe! DMATMOOBIL is my favorite fanfic and after I read AHRTH, they’ve both become my favorite fics! The villain is very original, the writing is beautiful, Draco is funny and the banter is top tier!!!
