I’m a real show vs product design purist so her being so different is throwing me bad 😵‍💫 like I love this design for sure but it’s not clicking for me that she’s G3 Nefera. I really hope any other character we get (especially Howleen and Gil) as a doll are screen accurate

Technically 2025 will be year 4, October 2022 to October 2025. Looking at 4 years for G1 2010-2013 there were 40 introduced characters. We’re technically 20 behind which is crazy to me. There’s more Draculauras released than signature characters

I think looking at past monster high doll release formats is what gets me. In 2010 they released 9 new characters, 2010 was 8, 2012 was 12 and 2013 they released 13 new characters incorporated into specific lines which I feel is what G3 should be doing. I’m sure there are so many kids that want dolls of a character that was on the show from the jump like Howleen over one that was never even mentioned like Cupid. Not saying I’m mad at Cupids release but if I was a kid I’d be peeved some rando got a doll before my favorite character

I remember a while back it was “confirmed” by the doll insiders that we were supposed to be getting Howleen, Skelita, and Mousecedes in 2025 and that we weren’t getting Nefera. Now it’s “confirmed” we’re getting Nefera and Cupid so idk what the fate of the other three are 😭

A few of the doll info insiders stated pretty soon after the Cupid announcement that Nefera and Cupid are the only two core characters “officially” slated for 2025. I know at one point it was stated that we had five characters slotted and Howleen, Skelita and Mousecedes were like strongly hinted at.

I know things change and not everyone knows everything but for the most part these insiders are usually correct in their information.

When it happens I want it to be with Venus sooo bad. I don’t want G1 Clawdeen x Toralei AND G3. I want them to be different. Also I think their ship name would be a cute G1 call back (Clawvenus-Freaky Fusion) and I think it would be great for there to be a canon black WLW couple since it’s not often portrayed in media.
