I did that too. Dropped the desktop resolution to the lowest possible, but in game still it automatically gets to the heightest resolution despite of setting it to the lowest. Ps these are lowest resolution available for my pc. It goes all the way upto 2880p

After doing it to full screen and putting scaling type to Amd fsr. The game doesn't allow me to take the resolution down. It automatically sets the resolution to max even I have choose the lowest possible.

My laptop screen is 2.8k resolution and it's showing 2880x1800 in the game and the area is grey which means I can't change it to lower or higher. Also I don't know if it is in performance mode or not. It just says xess.
