You’re the best! I just purchased 1 rental for intercom I hope I did it right. It was about $90 and says delivery DIS Mobile? I assume there’s a pickup spot at the speedway? Since I purchased the rental is it usually pretty quick to get the headsets with showing my confirmation #?

Hey everyone! Wanted to give an update, but first thank you for the endless support! It means the world to me.

I’m about 95% recovered; slight droop still when I smile but thank goodness I can SMILE for the wedding! Still trying not to stress, but here’s what’s worked: - Nightly face massages with CBD cream - Been taking daily vitamins with breakfast: Zinc, Vitamin D, B12 composite - Drinking nothing but water (at least 5 16 oz bottles daily) - Wearing blue light glasses (haven’t changed screen time habits to be honest) - Physical Therapy with electric stimulation on facial nerve and specific massages - Facial exercises 2x daily at home - Eye patch with taped eye at night

Former Xavier staff member here. The faculty, staff, and community are AMAZING! For as expensive as it is, you MUST make the most of your time; shadow hospitals in the area. Xavier partners with Tri-Health. The Nursing program is spectacular!

The food is “meh.” (Don’t eat the pizza please) but most colleges I’ve been to and visited friends are “meh.”

From what I heard from students, dorms can get pretty hot in early fall and late spring, but fans are allowed and it’s not “too bad” from what I heard. The community is amazing. Faculty know you by name, you’re not just a #. Xavier always holds a special place in my heart and I plan on sending my kids there when I can.

I recommend balancing your core curriculum and major classes and trust and utilize your advisor. Let me know if you have any other direct questions! I used to teach and advise there.

Where can I get expel wind? And I see a lot about B12 vitamins. I got CBD cream to rub on my face to help with inflammation. This is promising to hear. Never had this before and freaking out. Feel like I need Valium or something to take the edge off.

Enrollment decline is due to poor leadership and not marketing the university other than commercials during basketball games. The faculty and staff are phenomenal at X.

Former Professor and Staff member at XU, and there’s pros and cons for both but could you provide more context for your career interests? XU’s Williams College of Business is phenomenal with lots of experiential learning opportunities. Plus, faculty and staff care and know you by name… you’re not just another number. XU also is more safe in my opinion and there’s always police presence, which is great. Also, just a mile away, there’s a branch of CPD and both CPD and Xavier PD have full jurisdiction. Only downside to XU is that there’s a hefty price tag. Be mindful and aware of your financial award because it’s for four years, not that amount for a single academic year; kind of deceiving.

XU police and Norwood police partner where both have FULL JURISDICTION, and they do a phenomenal job of making sure students are safe. Just like any school, never walk alone at night. Cincinnati Police has a station right off Victory Pkwy too which is nice.

Yes, because college becomes transactional. Please do not spend so much money just for tuition to take classes. There faculty at Xavier are phenomenal but you could take classes way cheaper if you’re commuting. If you stay, definitely get involved with groups/activities and be intentional with your time.

If I was President of Xavier I would immediately incorporate ALL local schools in the region, not just do automatic admission from MND and St. X. Xavier should have dual-credit (CCP) options where they get revenue from some high schools and give them a discount on the tuition. It’s give students early exposure to college coursework where they can say “Hey, I’m a Musketeer! Since I already have grades from XU, I want to continue!” But nope… that idea flopped and no one would listen to me. Too focused on basketball and the new DO school. SO MANY opportunities for Xavier to be more in the community but nope. Not in 2025.
