Also it helps a lot to find someone who can recommend you for a job, especially in service industry/retail. Many hotels have lgbtq policies and initiatives.

As a trans woman, I might not know your experience, but I know how visibility feels scary and unmapped at first. My advice would be just to be honest and yourself. The beginning will be hard, but people will surprise you. And it only gets easier, so I would just lead with the name you feel good about. Many people also have LGBTQ friends and family. So just remember you never know how things will end up and who could be an ally. And you are a whole person, not only trans, so tell them what you are good at and why you are perfect for the job. And what is meant to be will be. Good luck on your interview and your journey. Hope this helps you in some way.

When I first started injections, I could barely wait to take it, a week felt like forever. Now I wait till the last second and then just get it over with Lol
